Aluminium roofing systems manufacturer PREFA has once again announced its competition, which unfortunately was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but this year the winners for 2020 and 2021 were able to present their awards to the public. The Architects’ Forum (Építészfórum) also took part in the event, which showcased high-quality creations.

PREFA, a manufacturer of complete roofing and façade cladding systems, has once again launched its Sheet Metal Cladding in Architecture competition, which received a large number of entries this year. Last year, unfortunately, the pandemic prevented the awards ceremony from taking place, but this year, both the winning entries for 2020 and 2021 were awarded, as usual, in the architect and student architect categories. The event was held on 24 June 2021 at the Hemingway Restaurant in Budapest. The opening speech was given by Judit Nemere, Managing Director of PREFA Hungária Kft., who told us that despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, both the previous and this year’s competition fortunately received a large number of entries, which is a really positive feedback for the company. …
